My current favourite character in Breath of the Wild is Pikango, the incredibly shit artist who turns up around Hyrule to badly paint landscapes and hint me towards my lost memories. If you just talk to him, he seems to be this amazing and talented painter, but like if you look at the canvas
I love him
Turns out someone on Reddit put together all of his paintings and the scenery they are supposed to be and it’s exactly as glorious as I’d hoped, but I just had to screenshot my favourite, which is this horse:
I love this horse I recreated it in an actual oil painting. It’s hanging in my kitchen

absolutely obsessed\with this game, Unpacking, by Witch Beam.
the premise of being given a few boxes to unpack into a room at certain periods in your character’s life is simple but extremely well-executed. you start off with boxes in rooms and get to experience the story through the objects and spaces within.
while there are a few objects that should go in specific places, there are mostly no wrong answers to how you choose to decorate your space, and it can be as cluttered or neat as you want. the satisfaction of transforming a room from a bare skeleton to your room is just *chef’s kiss*.
anyway if you’re looking for a low-stakes zen game with an engaging narrative and a great core gameplay loop, i cannot recommend this enough.
So I’ve been replaying “Unpacking” again, and I feel like writing down my thoughts on the game, but mostly about what I like to call the “Boyfriend level”. There will be spoilers for the game in this, so I will continue below the cut, and please play this game if you have the chance.
